The key to our business success . . .

Right Choice Exteriors LLC

The key to our business success . . .

The key to our business success . . .

Here is an article that gives you an idea as to how we think when we are bidding on a job. Why we keep our standards high, and do NOT ever entertain just how much we will get paid, but how and why we operate with full integrity and scrutiny with each job we do. Our complete concern is for the customer first, and profits second. If we cannot do the job right, no matter how much profit, we just won’t do it!

The following is from a friend that I have known for over 40 years and the highest scruples and integrity of anyone in business that I know, and why I follow his advice completely, without reservation!

Bill Myers Tip of the Week – November 03, 2018
Know when to do the job the right way or know when to run away . . .

In last week’s tip, I wrote about why I thought the lyrics to Kenny Roger’s Gambler, could be one of the secrets to success in life and business.

In that tip, I focused on the first two lines in the song’s refrain. The ones
that go like this:

“You’ve got to know when to hold ’em
Know when to fold ’em”

Those two lines could be applied to almost every decision we have to make in life. But it doesn’t end there. The next two lines in the refrain are equally
important. They say:

“Know when to walk away,
And know when to run”

Knowing when to walk away or run can be just as important as knowing when to hold or fold. Here’s an example.

This past week I received an email from someone who wanted me to give my opinion on an ‘opportunity’ they had found on Craigslist.

He described it as “Becoming a luxury car buyer” and he attached a pdf file from the company describing what they do.

After reading the PDF, I ran a Google search on the company and found that the company had been raided by the FBI, their assets seized, fined $500,000 and
the owners sentenced to three years in jail.

The FBI press release said what the company was doing was illegal and what the recruited car buyers were doing was illegal as well.

Rather than give my own personal opinion, I sent a link to the FBI article back to the person who had asked me the question.

His reply after reading the article was, “Technically, what they are doing is not illegal.”

That’s when the two lines from the Kenny Rogers song came into play.

When someone tells you, “Technically it is not illegal”, it’s time to walk away.

And when you learn that the company saying it has already been busted by the FBI for doing the same thing, it’s time to run.

And that’s what I did.

When the person told me, he was still considering working for the company, I wrote back, “I’m going to stop replying to your email questions because I
don’t want the FBI to find my name in your files when they seize your computer.”

That may sound like a harsh reply on my part, but when someone tells you that it is ‘technically not illegal because they’ve found a loophole”, it’s time to
walk or run away.

Just my opinion,

Bill Myers

That great feeling that you get when you get a super cheap price fade’s rapidly when you find out that the cheap job you paid for did not give you the job you thought that you received. Then you get to pay again to get it right. It’s always better to pay a little more do it right the first time.

Our answer is as follows: Technically there are cheap and easy ways to do our job, but is it right and will it hold up? If it won’t we will not cheapen our approach, ever. Our customers expect the best and it is always our obligation to give them the best, ALWAYS!
You can always count on us to give you the best and keep you first.

From all of the employees and owners of Right Choice Exteriors, we hope to give you many extended years of complete and utter satisfaction!
